I have had this for quite some time now and I don´t know what it is, other than it being a WW2 US Navy visor of some sort. Can someone help me?

The blue cover on officers caps was used in the Northern Atlantic and Pacific cold climate ocean areas up to the late 40's.

    Hi Steve

Thank you. This one doesnt come off, it is sewn onto the cap. If that is what you meant?

They are normally inter changeable but in this case if it is WWII it was probably used in the North Atlantic.
