Default USAAF Crusher sweatband maker label ??

    Hello Gent's,
I wanted to do some research on the crusher I picked up before posting it. On the sweat band it is printed Flygieatan . Before I zoomed in on it, I thought it said Hygieatan and that really threw me in the wrong direction, But after zooming in I saw what it really says. But I can not read what is printed under it.. I looked online and only found other Flygieatan's with the writing obscured. Does anybody know what else it says below the Flygieatan??

I'll see what I can do. I'll also check if my son can use his camera versus my cell phone to see if I can improve the quality of the pic.

It actually is Hygieatan (or maybe it is Flygieatan but see below........)

Below it says "A Certified Leather Antiseptically Made"

See example below of the writing (but it's a Fedora).

That is what I thought it said when I started my search . Then zoomed in an and saw what looked like FLY in script. When I entered that into my search this came up. I didn't find anything under the Hygieatan at work

I saw that link as well. Then tried different variations of the name. Used Yahoo, Google and Bing search engines. First hit was on the USMF and then with the corrected spelling I found the other link.

Thanks Rene for showing that. So they were used by multiple hat makers. My Crusher is a Sobel of Los Angeles. So sweat bands were sub contracted out!
Good to know. Once again. I learned something on this awesome site!!

Thanks to All who help solve this and shared information!
