Thought you might, René!
It’s that oval star field, eh? (I put that one in just for you)!

Now a winter weight officer’s crush, with back strap.
No maker, but marked ‘E-Z Cushion’ to the embossed lining band.
The eagle insignia on this one ‘glitters’ as it catches light, almost as if studded with tiny diamonds, and is beautiful to the eye, though sadly impossible to capture in a photograph.
And a far less commonly encountered Enlisted Mans’ crush, again with back strap.
There is no maker’s name in this example either, but it is produced in a fine moleskin fabric with suede underside to the peak. The laundry Mark leads to 73 possibles, though with no further clues, it seems impossible to pin it down any closer.
Love them all Bob!!!
The officer with the backstraps does have a great looking eagle, Beautiful details on it. If you looked already, does it have a maker mark on the back??
That enlisted is also really nice. He must of paid extra for that one!!
I should be able to join the crusher club this weekend. I got the 2 headset cushions in and mounted and I also got the British Type C headset in today to go with my Crusher and should able to get some pic's done then!!!

They are very nice Bob, love 'em!
Looking forward to seeing your setup, Phil!
Sounds lovely...
I didn’t think of checking the insignia for a maker... I shall have a look !
Had a look... no sign of a maker, I’m afraid Phil.
Worth a try.
While I’m here, take a look at the state of this thing when it’s off the head...
Looks like it fell off the top of the Chrysler Building!

Have you had any luck with tracing Lt. L. W. Beadle, René?
Love the way excessive handling has worn through the peak stitching.
