    That is sweet!
Its even better to see one rather than the one on that link I posted about the Marine Alpha jacket.

And this one is a Bancroft, I didn't think about them making overseas/Garrison caps.
Just there Flighter comes to mind.
That's really nice with the rank and Naval wings.

Is that an Ensign or LtJg bar???
I see both colors and don't know if its the flash/reflection.

    Thanks for showing it Rene'

Agree with Phil. I saw Bancroft and my eyes popped out! Great cap! Minty
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Cheers Fellas, Phil sorry it has finger prints all over it and I should have wiped it off before taking the shots! it's a Lieutenant bar to my knowledge.

    Thanks Rene'
    Just an FYI
Lieutenant Bar in US Navy is called Lieutenant Junior Grade,or LtJg
Captain Bars in US Navy are called Lieutenant.

Just some useless Navy stuff I had to learn.

I'm not sure but I think the fella might have used this one in the 50's? going by the serial no.? if so it still works for my set and also with my WW2 Korea issued flight jacket.

Hey Rene, is the tag on the jacket missing?

Actually I think a 2nd Lieutenant or as we called them in the Army a "butter bar" is an Ensign, the silver bar is as you say a Lieutenant Jg
