I'm very sorry to hear he is not doing well, my thoughts are with him and Olive.

    Hi all!

This is my first post on the forum and I would like to share a wartime dated example from my collection, a 1943 dated, well worn Kangol. Maker's mark and date have almost totally worn off, they are visible only after spraying with water or under strong lighting. "N" WD inspection stamp is a little bit more clear. Looking at the indentation the badge has left on the beret and the number of holes, I am guessing that it must have been an AAC beret.

    Regards, Giorgos
