Default WW2 RAF medical Uniform and CAP, or post war???

    Hi,

Looking for RAF officer's cap i've found this one tha comes with a tunic.
The tunic seem ok. A WW2 period uniform of a medical branch of RAF.

But, althogh the cap has the Kings Crown on the front,
i was curious about the visors dating.

First, there are two ventilation holes on each side of the cap, something i never seen on other ww2 period caps from fellow collectors.

Second, the interior shouldn't be made of green wool felt linnig with a Hatter's Maker stamp?

    What's your oppinion about it????

To me it looks fine. These caps were tailor made and so they do vary a bit in design.

That is an excellent cap and I have seen others with the vents in the same design, although not as usual as the "normal" style.

Looks fine. The visor shape is a big clue to the era as well - the squarer shape is typical of the WW2 era, later ones have a rounder peak. Also, nice narrow leather chinstrap with decent age to it, likewise the liner.
