Article about: I have had this hat for a bit and I have started to doubt its originality due to the amount of stamps inside. Does any one know anything about these stamps or what they are for? Sohail.

Aren't these the stamps of the Statni film company? They had, as it seem a lot of original caps in their costume fundus which was then sold.

I agree, postwar inventory stamps from Statni film wardrobe collection.

I don't collect M-43/Mountain caps, but the cap looks good to me.

Really appreciate the help guys. But I am surprised about this cap being in the inventory of such a famous film company in former Czechoslovakia and I do remember watching these old war films made by this company with my grandfather when I was visiting Slovakia, now I am really wondering was the cap ever in any of those war films. But again thanks a lot guys I really appreciate the help.

    Kind regards Sohail.

These film companies had and have large stocks of costumes (after the war nothing was easier than to get the left-over uniforms of the enemy) just in case they are needed. This doesn't mean that the cap has ever been used for a film, they just stored it, should they ever need it.
