Had a quick look at the visor caps and found this:

Germany. Heer Jager Officer Visor β€” WW2 Collectors World

It is a post-war German police cap with WH-insignia added (can't tell whether these are real, as I am no specialist for badges).

Germany. Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) NCO Visor by Kupper β€” WW2 Collectors World

This one is sold as Feuerschutzpolizei, yet the stamp inside says Reichsbahn-Kleiderkasse - it actually was a Reichsbahn cap.

So what does this tell us?

Oh boy... Stay away hahaha. He did raise a red flag for me when he told me to be weary of forums for help in authenticating items.. at that point... I had to put him on the ringer here and verify his honesty.. jeez too many crooks.or maybe he's honest but ignorant.

Let's hope for the latter! And, after all, I didn't check the other items as I am primarily interested in visor caps.

I would say about 50%+ of his German belt buckles are fake or have serious condition issues, or both. First two I looked at were clearly fakes. Didn't get much better after that

He also has what appears to be an original Japanese EM/NCO field cap with an officers star on the front and a really BAD repro chinstrap , not sure about the havlocks and unfortunately someone paid $450.00 for it. He also has another IJA EM/NCO hat that looks bad.

Its a wonder why that dealer told Mr Rusted to be leery of forums because the truth hurts his bottom line $$$

OR !!...he really doesnt know what he has in his inventory labeling him as a high risk dealer.

Short term seller if staying in this same direction.
