Hello, I must say I have never seen one like this. I have a fairly large collection of a variety Danziger and early Traditions skulls and none resemble this type. It looks like a nicely stamped skull with an even wear pattern and nice patina. I find the skull very appealing but I cant offer you anymore information on authenticity. It may be some modern reproduction but I like the look of it nonetheless. There are others on the forum that my be able to provide an answer for you.
Regards, Al
I agree with Aldo. Never seen one like this before either. It looks nice, I wish you luck on this one.

It's a good one.
Now that Sid has spoken, I need to find one like that LOL.
One person said that it was the skull of a tank soldier.
This is not the type usually associated with panzer troops, I’ll post some reference pictures for you later today. This would probably be an earlier type pre Third Reich.
Ok, thank you Aldo.
It appears to be very high quality more Imperial then even Freikorps.
Could you post a clearer photo of the back, it looks like three attachment points.
Maybe a Imperial shoulder board cypher.
Camoforce, I agree with Chris that it is probably Imperial era or possibly Weimar Republic era. These early skulls sometimes made their way onto early Third Reich caps, but I have not seen this particular one in a photo or on a cap. The panzer skulls look totally different, here is a sampling from my collection of panzer skulls and other types of Traditions skulls for comparison.
