Feldgendarmerie Officer visor cap - EREL
Hello everyone!
This is my newest acquisition, a nicely worn double Erel Feldgendarmerie officer’s cap with vented cockade, which is the first Erel in my collection (and not the last I’m afraid) The orange piping looks amazing in my opinion.

To give an idea of the rarity of these, I just went thru the pinned thread on FG visors--there was only 1 other Erel (which was later than Migo's)--the rest were late-late war.

The quality is also top of the line, and it has a strong character from being worn. I was very lucky to find this cap.

As already said, not easy to find in that Waffenfarbe. Just a year or two ago I was finally able to add an orange-piped enlisted visor to my collection, but it wasn't to a member of the FG. It belonged to a guy working in recruiting.

Is the 'farbe on yours a different shade of orange? I don't really know what the difference is between FG and recruiting
