    13. company of the Infantry Regiment No. 12 (hopefully I am right).
    Yes. That is exactly right.

Chuck, just go to the link to Lexikon that ErWeSa provided. Your browser will probably have an option whereby you can right click to translate to English - although it doesn't translate perfectly you'll get an idea.

Does anyone know a reputable member here that may be able to repair this cap? Visor is coming loose

As far as I know (former - alas!) member BenVK does expert repairs - he is in the UK. You can use the search function here or have a look at the WAF-forum to get in contact with him or you could try to have a go for yourself - find a suitable thread and needle (I'd suggest one with a rounded tip) and try to find the original holes with it. Sew into one direction and then into the other so that all the holes are filled and both sides of the seam are covered.

    Have look at this thread:

Thank you for the information. I did see bens posts. Was wondering why he caught a ban....
Anyhow i may try it myself if i can find a period correct thread or something acceptable. Hoping to find pictures of other visors with a similar problem so i can review the construction and how to go about doing this clean and proper.
