I have been offered a decent looking visor for sale. It seems to be legitimate but i would like some opinions here. Seller/trades states it is in solid condition with no major damage or parts coming loose. Can anyone tell me the maker of this cap and if it is a wartime manufactured piece? It does have a few moth nips in the rear, but seems solid. I am thinking of trading a nice drk hewer for it

Cap is a period piece, not in the best condition inside (lining at the front) and outside. E. C. K. is a known maker. I must look up wether I have further info on him.

ERWeSa, thank you for the reply. I did notice the visor seems to be coming apart at the seam in front and thats a real turn off... I just noticed this and seller isn't saying much. ...

Thanks adrian. This will be a place holder until i can find one better.

I did find a name or unit marking inside. Looks like- H. Simon 13/jr 12.

Anyone able to tell me what this may mean?

    13. company of the Infantry Regiment No. 12 (hopefully I am right). There seems still to be an association holding up the tradioton:

    Infanterie-Regiment 12

    Perhaps they know more.
