It is a visor for a Beamter auf Kriegsdauer--basically an Administrative Official for the Duration of the War. Hat looks good, just can't tell if the eagle is a replacement or not from these pics.

Whether the eagle is original to the cap or not it is a very nice cap in beautiful condition.

I concur. Its a certain "Paris Green" colour.

That's what worried me, to be honest. I thought that the construction looked right and that the extra green color was a bit strange. So is that nothing to be worried about?

I really would like to get this cap. It's a very beautiful one, in my opinion.

I guess it's all personal choice because I think it's ugly, poorly made and I'm not even sure it's authentic.

I'm just a fan of the color, and I hope it turns out to be a good one. Would better pics help?
