Any help on this cap and is this a flag.

Cap looks like an original officer cap (but more pictures are needed to be sure) but the insignia looks reapplied to me and I would expect the insignia to be in silver thread for officers

Flag is a repro IMO

The cap looks to me in the SS/LW cut, and probably this one is true example of a tailored police officers cap, but the eagle doe's not looks to me good, and also as Lars says before- the cockade is also plased later. That is just my IMO, but better pictures will tell us more.

I would agree with Lars. More pics needed for the cap. It is not of conventional pattern for a Heer cap. The cut appears to be KM or Waffen SS pattern?

Found flag with the rest of things I have posted. Have other things that I believe were with belt like ammo clip and gas mask with can with the number 88 on it.

In my opinion, both items are products of the 4th Reich. The flag is supposed to represent a Luftwaffe vehicle command flag.

Not a detailed pictures of the cap, but from the pictures I see I can say - not a good cap
