Originally Ahlers seems to have made caps himself (he was a Kürschner-Mützenmacher - furrier-capmaker), see here: General Staff or Ulan visor cap?
Later his is listed in the Postdam addressbooks as a men's hat special house which seems to indicate that he didn't produce caps himself anymore (last available entry from 1938/39):

Thanks for the info but about logos on the celluloid/liner from the visors..how many variants did exist...it would be possible see any other examples that the one you posted o any others thread on this Forum please???
