Kyffhäuserbund cap

Hiya, does anybody know the value of a Kyffhäuserbundcap like the one the image as I just bought one. Mine doesn't have the insignia anymore, but they are not very hard to find. It has a sort of large Kyffhäuserbund pin on it, that doesn't seem to belong a cap.
I paid 60 euro's for it, which seems alright to me, but I know these caps don't go very high.

A complete National Socialist Veterans Association cap goes for $300.00 USD more or less. 60 euros is a good price. I do not believe that it will to difficult or expensive to replace the insignia. Many reputable dealers carry insignia for sale. Be patient and you will find what you need.

I would like some more pics as well. There is a soft spot for these in my collection as well. The design (especially the band) is really a work of art. I am glad there are not many collectors into these yet. Makes getting a great price pretty easy.

I think that you did well, One sold on Martin Stiles site some time back for £150

Highly under rated IMHO

THe one on the pic is just an example, mine will arrive this week and has like I said no insignia on it. It also has a small mothhole, but I do get a great Kyffhäuserbund pin with it, which was found with the cap. Don't know where there insignia has gone, but according to the gentleman selling the cap it didn't have any as far as he could remember. Maybe it got tossed away after the war??
Anyway I'll put the cap and the pin on the "for sale" section as soon as it arrives, I paid 60 + 10 euro's pp for it, and who ever gives a small profit will have it!
