Luftwaffe Fliegermutze
Gents,
A local auction proved fruitful. Got a few items in which I'll post independently. The first item is this Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's Fliegermutze. There are no moth nips fortunately and the maker mark and size are clearly visible. A first for my collection and I've always oddly, wanted one. I'm more of the Imperial German collector however, if I may add, my TR collection is surprisingly growing as well.

The flap from the side looks quite pronounced, but I think it looks OK...

I know what Bob is saying about the curtain, but wonder if it might be due to the way it is displayed (perhaps lying flat would give a clearer view). Looks very nice.
As for slipping down the TR route... you know how this goes!

The odd camera angle indeed had the illusion of a "pronounced" side flap. Here are some additional pictures to prove that is the case.
