Hello Gentlemen,
Six months ago i did ask one of our member, Mark Twiname (NZMark) if he would be interested to co-sign an article about M40 tropical caps with me for the french Militaria Magazine, as part of the long range study about german uniforms and equipments started ten years ago...and he accepted. After six months of work,
the 20 pages article has been published in the 300th edition of the magazine.
This tread won't show the article as there is a copyright, but some photos of caps or reconstructions taken to be published...some were, some not...
I'll start the thread and Mark should come in later with some tremendous photos...
The blond/blue eyes/cute face model is a young NZ soldier named Josef Gattsche....(model on the front cover).
The unshaved brunette is named Frederick Lejeune from France...(my m8)...
Thanks for looking and i hope you'll enjoy the thread...
Thanks
