    Thank you Sammler,

I think that these walking out headgears have to be in very good conditions

This one has lost its stiffener, to give it a more kampf look

Insignas are period applied DESCHLER (M1/52)

In theory, these visors should be in good condition because they were only worn on special occasions. However, one must not forget that they are now about 80 years old and therefore the condition depends heavily on the treatment and storage over this long period of time. I personally don't like it as much when the stiffener has been removed, the visor looks more elegant with it, i.e. 'more German', I've never understood why many wearers saw it differently. But hey, it is how it is.

A stunning visor with a very natural untouched look even with the stiffener removed. It has a nice jaunty air to it despite it's sinister background. These caps truly are a work of art. For those interested, #195 Heinrich Wille was another maker that often left off the rzm stamp under the visor.
