    Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and the collecting biz. I'm reading through the forums with great enjoyment and have already learned much. As a first piece of my yet non existing collection, i'm looking for an original visor cap and came across the one in these pictures.

To my noob eye it looks pretty genuine, but the celofane inside does not seem to have a "slot" for the nametag. Can some of you vets give a starting enthousiast their opinion please?

Thanks in advance and i hope to be spending much time here.

Many real hats do not have slots for nametags. Your hat is an original, but the sweatband may have been repaired at some point.
Looks to be for Jaeger, but piping appears dirty.

this cap is a salty original model, I have no problem with the Sweatband Stony, I have seen this size befor, the paperboard is deleted in interior ( under the sweatband ) for sure

The green cap band is really out of shape and loose which is indicative of having had the card board that the hat band is stitched to being replaced or missing pieces. I believe that the cap is original. But there is a problem with the card board stiffener.

Just removed Steve, I have 2 caps with this problem.
