NSDAP Ortsgruppe Form II Visor

My first NSDAP Political visor arrived today. A nice early Ortsgruppe Form II cap with leather peak. I have a real affinity for these early caps with leather peaks in any form.
I won it at auction with later political eagle and immediately replaced it with a more appropriate 1934 pattern eagle. The cap is made by Gebrueder Bingel of Heidelberg. The cap has been around the block and featured a few times on Stonemint's threads outfitted with an early heer eagle. It's very fragile but a real beauty.

Thanks Tim, the visor transformed instantly with the new eagle, a nice cedar hat block and some acid free paper to block the crown and preserve the shape, and a little adjustment on the chinstrap. A well taken photograph can transform anything. Look at the evolution of these photo's on the forum and auction house
