Appears original albeit missing sweatshield, chinstrap, and chinstrap buttons.

Very nice piece!
Many of the early eReLs display handsewn sweatbands/visors. I suppose Lubstein outsourced production/completion of the caps to Heimarbeiter as I'm convinced he had the special sewing machines which allowed him to sew sweatband and visor in in one go.
Was the sweatband of your cap also handsewn in or just the visor/peak? In the only early eReL I own (from 1938) sweatband + visor were sewn in by hand (but with stiches that were more narrow to each other than in your cap).
