    Hello Tim

A nice early production BEFORE 1936 considering the white tag and black label "vom reischsführer..."
I think the TK and eagle set is an early production too from Deschler, but wait for ALDO's expertise

    Regards
    ARNAUD

if one day you take out the eagle and the skull you will find these specific marks

    in the eagle

Otto Schlientz, SS EM. RZM 26

The skull is more difficult to determine exactly, but it is a late RZM52 or
    a transitional m1/52

Otto Schlientz, SS EM. RZM 26

Due to the set that forms the eagle/skull, I would say that it is this late transitional skull brand of worn die.

Otto Schlientz, SS EM. RZM 26

to be sure , if you see the prongs of the skull in the cap
if the prongs end up flat = late rzm52
if the prongs end in a point = transitional m1/52

As a curiosity , although the cap are from before 1936, this specific type of insignias did not exist until a few years later.

I hope I have helped a little to complete the information in this magnificent cap.

I think that is the first white-tag Schlientz I have seen....

Nice one Al. My number is 415 larger than that one. 240890 to 240475. Don't know if that equals 415 visors.

    Thanks for info.

I was thinking the same thing, these visors were made within 400 units of each other and ended surviving the war and in nearby collections
