I am no specialist for these and always critical when things are stamped - 1935 in this case would mean post 1933 so normally I would have expected the green cloth covered helmet. There were, however, exceptions to the rule (for Berlin if I remember correctly). The fact that there is no maker-mark inside + the "shield" at the front where the insignia used to be mounted (plus the imprints on the bottom of the shield from an insignia which doesn't seem to have been the police eagle) make me suspicious of this piece.
