Published Fakes Reference

Hey guys,
I often see people say that virtually all reference books have fakes in them (unwittingly mostly I assume).
It would be really helpful if we had a section (pinned thread) that can break these down by book - I think that would be hugely useful to people who study these books to get an idea of what is real.

Maybe we could kick it off by people posting any known fakes in "German Headgear in World War II" by Morgan and Maguire?
Or anything else you like.
