R.A.D. Wintermutze ?

Hello ! I am posting on behalf of a friend in the Netherlands, he has purchased this Wintermutze, I like the woven insignia but have never came across this style with snaps so I cannot confirm authenticity, I also have read through Wim's ( Wilhelm Saris's ) book with no definite match thus far, I have also asked for better photos of the snap itself to determine modern manufacture, it is devoid of any Bekleidungsamt stamps, the inside area of the cap looks to have has a label sewn in at one time but the area looks a bit bigger than I would expect from a R.A.D. issued name tag, just some of my observations, any comments are welcome and many thanks for looking, G

I can't comment on the mutze other than the RAD insignia looks very well made, a point in its favour. The prym snaps, if that's what they are look mint.

I would like to point out that Rossi posted a DJ Schiffchen with snaps. Different organizations but the same concept.
