You will need better photographs of the 'Ober-und Unterklappe' (side flaps), it has the silver piping denoting office grade, I am not too fond of the Mutzenabzeichen as seen on the cap..

I have talked with a few other Members here and our group, we believe and agree that the cap insignia shown on the hat is a reproduction, notice the similarities of a known fake and the one on the cap. G

That I am unsure of, but it would seem a little late as the insignia is affixed...

I have seen exactly the same cap insignia by two german militaria dealers and they sell it as original.

Save your $$ They are fakes, I have a few of these for reference, compared to originals, they do not fit the bill..
