Looks like a nice early cap. The bill is getting loose. I can't see the air vents - try to get pictures of these (are they all there and are they the right ones?).

I know these only without air-vents or those from the link - but, admittedly, my knowlege is restricted in this (and, alas, many other) fields. Unless the specialists can tell from these photos alone if this cap is authentic the next step would be pictures from the back of these air-vents.
