    It looks like fire/police. it has too many front pieces on it.

    Hi

    It's more than likely a post ww2 fire dept/police cap. They are common enough and the value is not great. Lots of dealers have them on their sites so you can judge a price from there.

    Insignia on the cap is incorrect as the wreath should not be on the crown.

    I would say it is late 20's Feuerwehr.

    After our comments advising you that this is just a common fireman's cap, why is it you put it on Ebay described as a "Prussian General's Cap"?:
