Unusual Sheepskin winter hat

Hello all, I’ve strayed into the German forum in the hope that someone will tell me where this sheepskin hat is from.
The construction appears to be quite ‘rough’ and of a wartime manufacture, however, I don’t know from what country it originates from. As these were mainly worn on the eastern front I’m wondering whether it’s German, Russian or somewhere from Eastern Europe.
What I think is quite unusual is that the skull of the cap is made of cloth and lined with sheepskin whilst the the ear flaps and peak are made of unlined sheepskin
There are no stamps or labels on the hat that I can find.

But with these fur hats one can never tell - there were civilian versions as well and every country in (the north of) Europe had its own specimens.

Maybe Bulgarian, i think i have seen the same sold on German ebay as such
