“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
I do love that across the pond humor. But then again I did grow up watching Monty Python's Flying Circus. This might explain a lot of my off humor post and comments.

One of THE best shows on television - and way ahead of their time!
Couldn't agree more.
And, so we don't stray too much off-topic... Classic Python sketches with WW2 connections: The one about joke warfare and the one with Herr Hitler in Meinhead (sorry: Mr. Hilter in Minehead). Never fail to crack me up.
(Although my all-time favorite sketch from that particular sub-genre of Brit Humor Nazi Comedy is still the one about the German generals by Smith & Jones. A brilliant satire on all those all-too-familiar movie clichés and one that I can't help to think about almost everytime a German officer is depicted in any movie.)
Just to keep it in the spirit....this is another classic

Both skits are very funny...and then I noticed the footage of that actual restored and flying Me 262 and the Me 163 -- both fabulous! Never thought I'd see those planes actually flying again!
Cheers,
