Aux participants francais du forum: vous avez toute ma sympathie. Cette cathédrale est plus qu'une cathédrale - c'est LE symbole de la Grande Nation.
Cela me rappelle le sort de la cathédrale de Vienne en 1945 - seulement que, dans ce cas-là, c'étaient les pilleurs qui ont mis feu aux maisons dans les environs pour brouiller les pistes de leurs actes qui sont responsables que le toit, blessé par des grenades, a pris feu par l'effet du jet de flammèches.

All my sympathy is with the French participants of the forum. This cathedral is more than a cathedral - it is the symbol of la Grande Nation.
This reminds me of the fate of Vienna's cathedral in 1945 - in this case, however, the looters were responsible for the fire as they set fire on the houses in the vicinity to cover the tracks of their acts so that the flying sparks set the roof structure on fire through the holes caused by the grenades.

As a footnote, I remember reading somewhere that Gene Roddenberry direction to the costume designer regarding Alien woman's costumes , "they should look like they would fall off with a good tug" . I guess that why it still survives to this day.
