I really hate turning the sweatbands down. This one is in great shape and pliable so it should take it without damage. I will post additional photos behind the band upon request.

Sorry to say that this one is bad.
It is what we call a "Frankenstein" cap b/c it was made out of original and fake parts postwar.

The easiest "tell" (as they say in poker) is that it is marked for the Heeres Kleiderkasse, which was used only by the Army.
(The SS had their own Kleiderkasse system, but did not mark their visors as such).

Unfortunately the skull is a fake as well. The other three SS caps you posted are exceptional though.

The skull seemed different to me and it is slightly loose.
Too bad though as it is nice-looking, franken cap or otherwise.

Truth is best.

I have some more very interesting caps I cannot wait to show the group, along with a few more common ones.
