    Default 1/6 scale WWII Collection

I began collecting and customizing 1/6 scale action figures over 20 years ago and over the span of 10 years I amassed around 400 figures. In the beginning It started as a way of involving my son in a hobby related to my true passion of WWII. Over the years as my son lost interest I continued collecting for the pure joy of it. A few years ago I decided to sell the collection piece by piece because it was sitting in the basement collecting dust with no interest on my part as I began the journey of collecting real militaria. While the collection is now gone I still have all the photo's and would like to share them on the forum. I have posted some pictures on other threads but I thought it'd be nice to seem them all on one thread.

This tank and crew represents the only thing left from my long gone massive collection. I took it out today for a spin and took some nice pictures. Stay tuned for many more photo's. I hope you all enjoy it.

    Regards, Al

The remaining pictures are from my archives when I sold the collection off.
This set represented the DAK High Command in one Kubelwagen, a prime target for the allies.

Anderson, many are put together right from the box, others are put together by kitbashing them with loose equipment you scrounge around for on the internet and then there are true custom figures that are weathered and repainted for realism. In the beginning it was tough customizing them because there was no variety of material available and often had to scratch make items. Eventually it turned into a cottage industry with everything imaginable available to customize a figure. It was fun when it was a challenge but when everyone can get anything they were looking for it lost it's luster. I have thousands of images of figures I bought and sold so this thread will be a long one.
