Very interesting variety of skull,
Yes it is, I'm on the hunt for more period photographs of caps with this skull.

I found a photo originally in a Stahlhelmbund id card showing the skull being worn on a collar tab.

Just a few more examples of this type of skull I found on the web. It's amazing that once you are visually familiar with a particular type you begin to see examples everywhere. Leads me to believe that I may find another one eventually.

My latest Danziger variant. This is the one with the rounded, robust looking lower jaw. It retains a small amount of silver and it looks great next to my other skull of this type.

Here are my British 17th Lancers, Motto's and Chad's.
Motto is the name of the hat badge, Chad is when they are worn on the sleeve by Sgt's and NCOs.
The silver examples are WWI and the brass Chad is post war I believe.
Hope you like them.
These look great ! Thanks for posting. I need to learn a little about them before I start plunking money down on them. I thought I saw few nice ones on ebay for good price but I don't know enough about them to know if they were good or not. I'd like to add a few to my skulls in the future.
