Cover Body Armour Mk1 early 90's, and introducing our new family member "Chucky" 6 weeks old, he'll ("he'll"-- well there is a bet with the vet on this) be on the authentication duties after a couple of months!

I remember getting issued CBA in Germany summer of 1994.. We were just about to go for a live firing exercise on Sennelager (worst lager in the world). This stuff was issued just before we went.. Well I can tell you , you sweat 10 times more with this body armour on. Nobody
was carrying the right amount of waterbottles lol.. Cheers Terry

    G'day all,
May I ask please, what is the rear clip strap for? on the flack jacket!

Also I obtained my 3rd dreaded (rubbish tip) Mk6 helmet 89/90 and now I can dress up three patterns

it seems easier for you to get Brit Compos than it is for us to get Aussie ones!

Good luck with the dressing up....I look forward to the pics.

Re the rear strap....I'm told that you adjust it carefully until the the black snap-clip hangs about 6 inches below the rear edge of the vest itself...then you grab the clip part....and shove it up your ****, tho I'm not sure that's in Queens Regs.......
