Heer Oberfeldwebel Bluse

Friends, I recently purchased this NCO Bluse. It has three award loops present, one for a ribbon bar and two on either side of the left pocket. There are two fairly large holes in the middle of the left pocket as well indicating there was an award present at one time. I am looking for advice on what awards to add to this Bluse for display purposes. Note this is a Gebirgsjâger NCO and I added Oberfeldwebel Shulterklappen. I am looking for a recommended selection that would best represent the uniform. I do think the center pocket award was an Eisernes Kreuz erste klasse. Open to ideas. Thanks, Neil

Definitely an EKI, and maybe assault and wound badges.
Perhaps something like long service and Italian-German medals on the ribbon bar, or you could go ‘eastern’ with an Ostfront and, perhaps, a Romanian medal.
Just bouncing some ideas around.

One close combat clasp over the left pocket

Athor - oh boy, you have set me up for an expensive purchase but the loops look correct for close combat clasp! I have an iron cross, assault badge and both a third and second class wound badge. Neil

With no 2nd class EK ribbon in the button hole I wouldn’t think an 1st EK is appropriate. Both must be displayed as per regulations.

Chris, I have EK2 ribbon too. Looking to test the size for the close combat clasp first. NH

Close combat clasp is a no-go. The loops over the pocket cannot accommodate the wide clasp. It must have had a ribbon bar with four or five ribbons.
