Even a period typed letter resting in the rollers. I spent the day digging for Oma’s German Erika Model 5 Typewriter and with 3 boxes left to go I finally located it. Her typewriter was manufactured in 1939 by the German company Seidel & Naumann. This one made in Dresden. The company was founded in 1868 by Karl Robert Bruno Naumann. In 1869 Emil Seidel invested into the company after which it became Seidel & Naumann. The Erika typewriter was my Oma’s. Added a 1933 phone from Siemens made in Berlin along with a Black Forest carved birthday inkwell dedication piece for a 60th birthday to an Oberwachtmeister.

Now that is an awesome set up. And the lighting used in the photo just enhances it more.

I think I have a similar desk lamp

Thanks Michael! It is kind of cool that the lamp is my Opa's old work bench lamp from way way back.

Thanks Ralph. Kind of funny that the wifey comes in and says "that looks nice" I felt her forehead as I thought she had a fever She said...Nope, looks good and you did not just pile a bunch of Nazi shit all over it

Looks fantastic Kirk! Very well done. Its very rewarding when different items from the collection come together to help us do a little time travel. Would love to see a little more flag creep into the photo if it’s what I think it is.
