    Hello Gent's,
Well my WONDERFUL wife and my #3 son bought me a mannequin for my Father's day gift.
So as I promised I would share my display with all that were interested .
I did it up to recreate what Phil Chaperon told me he wore on the day they were shotdown on a mission to Schweinfurt on April 13th 1944 . These are the M1938 coveralls I just picked up.
I have a set of WW2 low quarter boots coming to put some shoes on those feet. The second pic is my display to Honor my Great Aunt and Phil.
    Meet Phil!

I'll let this sit like this to take it all in. I am SOOOO Happy!!
Then I'll put on the B-14 Michael gave me. Then the 8th AF uniforms I have.
Man O Man! I finally get to play dress up.
It's like having my GI Joe back but life size

I’m so stoked for you Phil!!!! What a great set up to honor two very special people. Was that your great aunts uniform and dog tags? Love their pictures on the wall.

And the flag is displayed properly, of course you knew the correct way LOL.

Awesome. A real life GI Joe. Does it have the Kung Fu Grip? LoL

Looks good. Can't wait to see it with the B-14. That is a sweet looking jacket if I say so myself. Hope it fits though.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

    Thank you all!!
    Todd,
Yes I was like a kid at Christmas unwrapping and assembling it. I still have a shit eating grin on my face!!

    Marty,
That is my Great Aunt Annie's uniform and her picture on the wall next to it.

    Rene',
Mine has a metal flat disc base with a metal rod sticking up that travels up into the calf. It is very sturdy.

    Chris,
She sure is a Keeper. It only took me 2 times to get it right

    Mart,
I am really happy with this and need to add one more for my Uncle Joe's display. My wife said that one is on me

    Michael,
If I didn't buy those coveralls it was your jacket I wanted this for. I'll be switching things around in a little while after I enjoy this set up. They got me a 5'10" mannequin. which is perfect for the coveralls. I'm going to get a 5'8" one and then I'll have your/my jacket displayed. I'm going to use that for my Uncle Joe's display. It will have a display of Honor all on its own!! I am truly grateful for your kindness in gifting that to me
