Thought i would share these items as a group rather than individually since that would be too much effort for me right now. All of these were picked up from an antiques fair today.

For £10 I managed to buy a complete early type MG34 ammo tin with the markings hrh/41. Inside in mint condition was a oil can and MG34 belt and starter tab. These are all war time stamped pieces with dates and maker codes. As you can tell its been Yugoslavian repainted. But i have already removed the paint off of the oil can and found its maker code proving its a war time example. Overall a bargain for £10

I got a Chernobyl liquidators medal for £10. Rather interesting imo. A East German cap badge for £4 . A miniature ( i think) bronze mother cross for £30. Plus a british army note for £1.

Any one got good ideas for a effective and efficient method for paint removal for the ammo tin? Should i even remove the paint.

Hope you enjoy the photos. Wont be to photo heavy since i dont have the time to take lots of photos.

I believe the Mutterkruez is a full size one.

Heres the mother cross next to an iron cross. I am very surprised thats the full sized cross. I guess I have just never seen one before in person really!
