Very nice collection! It's nice to see some younger people still interested in this hobby, there's not many though... People my age don't even really collect this stuff anymore, with the exception of a few.
Keep doing what your doing and your collection will grow fast
Bravo Pat ! You have a super collection mate
Keep it going

Hey Patrick,
Still a nice collection you have there.
I love the Blanket chest, but I'll beter not show it to my wife, she would trade you all my medals and hardware for it, behind my back.
Regards,
Steven
She still would trade you my collection for it and leave you the holster.
She doesn't understand my fascination for those pieces of metal, to putt it in her words: "Junk"
I just bought a lot and there was a nice 1st WW german wooden ammocrate in it, you can guess: She confiscated the crate for here own sinister interior decoration hobby, needless to say I'll never see it again
That's a nice job Pat, you have some fine pieces there.
Funny thing was I saw it at an auction and bid. It wasent untill I got home and opened it I found old shoes, bags, and a gun holster. We also found two clips of live ammunation. I bought the chest when we were living up near the border. So who knows what the ammunation was going to be used for near the Ireland/northern Ireland border. We went to the Garda and gave them the bullets and told them. But I kept the holster
Sorry about your Crate.
Cheers, Pat
Hey Pat, the collections going well i see! Good to see that you have brought a DAF cap badge for your cap! I also recognise the helmet from the classified section. Keep it up!
Thanks, Glen.
