Great Display Ralph!
Very nice collection and display! I to have a few Japanese items, including an Officers sword and a Japanese flare gun.
i like your display . it looks real nice. deadeye
Awesome! I now regret selling my officers sword and helmet.. Still have my flag though! I also like the fashion in which the flag is suspended.. Very gentle and non abrasive to the silk..I'm assuming its silk like mine. Great job with the display and construction of the cases. Thanks for sharing this great researched piece of history!
Dean.
Thank you Dean!
I have held on to this one for about 25 years. They just didn't come around here very often in those days. More often now but, quite a bit more expensive. Yes, the flag is silk. I did not look for one with kanji on it as most of it would not be seen. I have since picked up a decent helmet shell but have yet to decide how to display it.

Like it a lot. Great display. I especially like that you took care to drape the flag over the dowel in order to preserve it better.
