Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

I regret to say that I do not have any back groud on them. I bought them all on the net,.... there is no time for talking, it is strictly business; you never get to know wher it comes from.On a fair you get to know more about any item you buy, and then again you are never schure if the story is real....
Just one thing!! My pseudo is: "stukaf "or "stuk af" or stuka f"!!
I do insist on the "f" ; in Flemish it means: "chipped" , "broken" or just "crazy". Now it is up to you to choose how you want to qualify me!!

Hi Stuk af
Ah Flemish is a nice language isn't it, your display name is indeed well found when you think about it..
How do you display these buckles, in a case?

hey Nick;
still working on a proper display ...at the momment on a glass shelf in an Edwardian book case.
But most off the collection is in a chest of draws for printing letters.
