Found this little display cupboard at the flee market, that will be filled very soon!!
I am limited by an agreement to only have one room with my militaria on display so I try to keep it tastefully displayed and use the space wisely. I cheat a little when it comes to defining the line of demarcation...
Once in the room, I have an axis area that is composed of mainly SS (being my focus) on one side and a display of U.S. militaria on the opposing side.
I am able to squeeze in a desk and sitting area to study references or just view my collection. I can keep the space usable this way. Some of my uniforms are framed and hung on the walls to save space and I particularly like the boxes for the Feldmützen since they keep the dust off and show well.

I don't get to put out all my stuff on display but I have resently
taken over a couple of the shelves in our entertainment center.
It's not big enough to show off all my crosses but I can display
a few items. (sorry for the poor pictures, the backlight from the window
makes it hard to get a good shot)

I do have a display cabinet in my bedroom for the knives.
My wife hates this but it was there before she was.

All my crosses are in display boxes that get hidden away most of the time.
Here is what they look like when I drag them into the living room.
