This dagger is fake
-TJ-
It's a Spanish repro. Biggest give away with these is the Berlin marking instead of Solingen.
Per what the other members have stated, a reproduction.

In its rarity..Holler did produce this type of dagger ..but are very rarely found and believe a small production run was made.
Yet as stated by the members above a recent Spanish fake with the logo and the injection mold points on the reverse crossguard wings.
The grip plates as well are not the mother of pearl type and also the the grip has the impression of a bulbous belly ...unlike a slimmer look to it seen in the many threads here in this forum.
$75 price tag compared to finding them at $5000 US

A very obvious fake really. Perhaps that's unfair, "reproduction".
I agree that Höller did produce the Government Official dagger in very limited quantity. They are very distinct with subtle differences and not interchangable with those made by Eickhorn and Alcoso as some of the parts were different.
Another way to tell this is a reproduction is the presence of injection molding marks on the reverse crossguard. Original GO crossguards of any maker will not show this feature.
