Looking for feedback here if possible. I'm working on acquiring two Teno Daggers. One is in great condition but with out the scabbard. There is also one with heavy wear with a good condition scabbard. In researching these I have only found ones that are in pristine condition for sale to be able to gauge price. Question I have is what would be a fair price for the two in these photos. Thanks everyone.Feedback on possible Teno Dagger purchase neededFeedback on possible Teno Dagger purchase neededFeedback on possible Teno Dagger purchase neededFeedback on possible Teno Dagger purchase needed

Please show number on throat and blade. It's hard to find a separate sheath. Regular price from reputable dealers for hewer complete and in good condition from 3500 dollars and up. But this is the dealers price, and for items in a good condition. Your daggers have poor condition and one without a sheath. Therefore, you decide the price.

You can occasionally find a loose TeNo hewed scabbard for sale, I believe Tom Johnson has one currently. One thing you can't do is improve the condition of those hewers, they will always be less desirable because of their condition. And even if you buy the loose scabbard (priced somewhere around $900-$950), it will always have mismatched numbers, also lessening the desirability.

My suggestion is you leave these TeNos alone, save your money & wait for a nicely conditioned example for your collection. Upgrading is something we as collectors all do but with expensive daggers like this, it usually results in wasted money & remorse.

One of the hewers looks like it has a bent spine, is that correct? If so, I reiterate my above statement.
