re: Government Officials dagger
It is a Govt dagger as you have found, but I can't tell you if it is legit I'm afraid. I don't like the leather bumper on it though, I've only ever seen that on fake examples of various daggers (please correct me if I'm wrong on that chaps)

re: Government Officials dagger
On the makers logo it says Berlin rather than Solingen,so it`s a repro....Pete.

re: Government Officials dagger
yes the berlin mark kind of says it all. you only want to see Berlin on a HACO SA dagger.

Hello all,
Newbie here, I have a german dagger which I've done a little research on, but have became stuck.
I think it's probably a fake but seems to be very high quality, some digging points to government official style, but I may be wide of the mark, anyway I'll post some 'photos if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks very much for your time guys, the maker of this dagger obviously read the bit somewhere about HOLLER being sought after and decided to add that to the stamp....do you think its worth anything
best regards
