    Yes, it is.
    I believe these were firefighter's dress bayonets.

    Hi, BTW, it´s not a "bayonet", it´s a Faschinenmesser !

    Nice find Tuncer

    its a short blade version of the Firemans Faschinenmesser.
    Due to the style that also matches some of the Heer dress bayonets...it is common to view it as a bayonet type and many have said it as well as myself.

    Now you need to find a Firemans long example..would make a good pair to display
