These are my first to daggers that got me started in this hobbie 12 years ago.
Why is one portapee a diffrent color for? its a golden browney color.
They were brought back at the same time from the war and have allways been together.

Hi Pete, nice looking daggers.
The thread ages differently according to the material used, hence the colour tone difference.
Cheers, Ade.

Hi Peter.
Two very nice Eichorn Kriegsmarine daggers ! ( You will have to turn the blades
around in their sheaths - they're backwards in the pics ) The darker one could
be 'gold' for high ranks, or perhaps age or tarnish ? That one is tied correctly,
but the other should be retied in the same manner.........
Regards,
Steve.
We all know Ade is cringing at the sight of the daggers put in the sheathes wrong! I suggest you turn them around before something bad happens!

First of all 2 nice KM daggers!
Funny thing nobody noticed ist that on the last two pictures the left dagger is correctly placed in its scabbard, only the pommel turned his head, hahahahaa, perhaps a curious little eagle?
And Ade has so many followers by now,he doesnt need to say that they are wrong in their scabbards we will do it for him, hahahaha
Cheers,
Ger
Lol - good spotting Gerrit.........!
Regards,
Steve.
They are in the scabbards the right way .......the eagle on top has spun around lol....the portapee on the left is a mess ....its shot to hel frayed etc thats the way i got it etc
Hi Kiwipete,
looking at a dagger with the scabbardrings on the right, the release button should be on the back, and the Eagle should face you...
So just 1 is placed in the scabbard the correct way.
Cheers Ger
