I think I posted a message in the wrong thread, I do not know whether I can move it . Alternatively, please move to the correct thread.
Hi Michal..I will move it into the main dagger forum for discussion..but this dagger is made up of parts from various other daggers..and what looks like a hood ornament from the Paint Moguls car Earl Scheib.
Most of it is 1st model Luftwaffe..and will generously move this thread to the Best of the Worst...but lets hear other opinions first..of this rarity. Regards Larry

Never seen like it, so I wanted to ask, maybe there was something similar in production. It turns out that someone had a lot of time and imagination
As Larry said, this dagger looks like its been made up of some 1st model Luftwaffe dagger parts along with some other items. The scabbard body resembles that of a Polizei bayonet.
I have seen a couple of Polizei bayonets modified to be NSKOV bayonets, essentially different grip emblems. No idea if they were period. I haven't seen period documentation of such an item but u suspect it's entirely possible.
Sorry to say..also who ever is selling this the NSKOV funeral sash does not make this dagger affiliated to that Veterans organization...let alone putting brand name bath towels next to it making it that daggers brand name also.

Does anyone know about the uniform for the NSKOV?
If so, then you will know this veteran's organization had no reason to wear a dagger,
not even an official belt and had never an aiguillette or brocade. For me this is just
crap and/or fantasy!
It would make a neat letter opener...

At least it made me laugh for quite a while, this thing is so funny...Gents with daggers like this we live longer....as laughing is very healthy!
Wilhelm they do need a dagger...... to take out the weeds from the graves......
